Dr. Sam Hay BMedSci, MBBS(Hons), FRACGP, GDipSpMed, DCH

Dr Sam has worked as a GP across Sydney since 2005. Drawing on an early career as a Regimental Medical Officer with the Australian Army; additional training in Sports Medicine and Paediatrics; plus his life as a dad of three kids - Dr Sam has established himself as an experienced GP for all the family.

He enjoys helping you manage the trials and tribulations of life. Trying to get pregnant, can’t get pregnant; being a mum, a dad, a teenager; looking after your kids; plus the stresses that come with every step you take.

Dr Sam believes strongly in evidence based medicine, preventative health strategies, and incorporating a healthy active lifestyle regardless of your capacity or situation.

Outside of work - well there isn’t much time! Dr Sam stays fit rowing, loves to cook (and taste the beer that goes with it…), and above all else spending time with his family.

Dr. Marissa Basil BScHons1 BEd MBBSHons 1 FRACGP Dip Paeds

Dr Basil is a highly experienced GP and medical educator.  She has worked at the Martin Place Doctors for over 10 years and has dedicated herself to caring for CBD professionals and their family members. Her areas of interest include acute medical presentations, fertility, antenatal care, perimenopause, men's health and preventative medicine.

Marissa believes in the patient-centred model of care and is committed to developing strong and long-term therapeutic relationships with her patients. She also endeavours to see her patients at short notice for emergencies and acute illness.

Marissa's early years were spent as a high school teacher of mathematics and science after which she obtained her medical degree with Honours at University of Sydney.  Over the years she has combined her passion for both fields whilst working as a clinician and being involved in medical education at both USYD, and UNSW, examining for RACGP and assisting in training GP registrars.

Outside of work, Marissa is busy looking after 2 children, playing tennis, coastal walking and swimming, and cooking for family and friends.
