Outside normal business hours and for weekends Martin Place Doctors subscribes to 

National Home Doctor Service - Phone:  13 74 25 (13SICK).

 

This service operates for registered patients of our practice:
- Weeknights from 6pm to 8am the following the morning
- Weekends from 12 noon Saturday to 8am Monday morning
- Public holidays (all hours)

 

This service is staffed by qualified and registered general practitioners who provide our practice with detailed

reports of any visits they attend.  13SICK will provide suitable care alternatives if you reside outside of the 13SICK coverage area, or in the unlikely event where a medical practitioner visit is unavailable for any reason.

Patients who are registered with Medicare or Veterans Affairs are bulk-billed. Patients who are not registered

with either are charged a fee directly by the service. Payment is made at the time of visit,

costs are advised when making the request.

This service is for urgent after-hours medical attention. In case of an emergency, please call triple zero (000).

​

The practice endorses the use by patients of the Australian Government’s after-hours

GP helpline (Phone: 1800 022 222).  This service provides reassurance and practical medical advice

when our sites are not open.  Calls from landlines are free.  Mobile charges may apply.
